Overview: Custom Reports
Note: to view and access the custom reports within My Recipe Manager requires the 'Custom Reports' role to be assigned to the users account by a school administrator. To view the list of available roles and what they allow a user to do click here.
Some schools have requested very specific (customised) reports in order to assist them in managing the work they are doing. There have also been one or two instances where a school has customised the way My Recipe Manager displays their food orders on screen e.g. grouping them by date, only to find that the downloaded or printed output does not reflect how their food orders were displaying on the web page. The standard shopping list and food order reports that are accessible through the 'Food Order' menu are easily managed within My Recipe Manager; however, like most web applications, they have their limits with respect to the 'reporting' they are capable of.
In order to provide schools with custom reports we have decided this is best managed outside of My Recipe Manager through dedicated reporting software for which we have purchased a license for. The custom reports that we create for a school will appear under a menu titled 'Custom Reports' and will be available for all schools to run. Each report will also be customised to display the name and logo of the school that is running the report.
If you have any specific requirements i.e. a specific report that you would like My Recipe Manager to produce for you please submit a support ticket detailing the type of report that you would like. Upon receipt of your request we will investigate whether or not we can produce the report for you.
